Women-Concern Liberia (WCL) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental women-led organization base in Liberia. Founded by two young Liberian women in 2016; WCL mission is to promote human rights, health and wellbeing of women and provide appropriate empowerment skills for growth. The organization since its establishment in 2016 operates in the fifteen subdivision of Liberia and has experience staffs with many years of experience bringing together diverse voices and interests to drive progress, particularly in maternal, sexual and reproductive health and rights. WCL intervention mainly focus on achievements in domains/program areas including, Women Rights,Gender Equality, Sexual and Gender Based Violence against Women, Democracy, Justice, Development, Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Well-being and Empowerment Core Values Honesty, Integrity, Discipline and Respect Women-Concern Liberia vision is “To create an environment where lifelong development opportunities are available to women without any form of discrimination” This aim is archived with the close collaboration of partner communities development organizations through a participatory, demand responsive, gender and poverty sensitive integrated development approach in Liberia.
