(The Haven) is on a mission to advocate for and empower domestic violence victims through awareness-rising activities to prevent violence, promoting justice, and providing support services to women, girls, and children who are victims of abuse and violence. As a place of refuge, The Haven provides Safe Houses for the abused and violated in concert with legal and advocacy supports, victims assistance programs, as well as culturally competent counseling. The Haven’s helpline phone system, the only one operated by a community-based organization in the country, serves as a gateway to our services and handles from the public including victims reporting violence against women.
